Class Descriptions
Gentle/Restorative:

This class is a combination of simple dynamic movement, seated and supine poses to help alleviate stress and tension in the shoulders, back, chest and hips followed by comfortable restorative poses which use props to provide complete support, relaxation and ease while bringing a calm awareness to the breath.  Stress in our lives can cause high blood pressure, depression, immune challenges, muscular pain, spinal discomfort and digestive and reproductive disorders, by gently opening and expanding the body through these gentle postures you can create ideal space for the body to remarkably heal itself.   This class is beneficial for all levels of yoga students and is a complimentary balance to other practices.  You will leave feeling clear, centered and replenished.

Level 1-2:
Providing a steady flow, with close attention to proper alignment and maintaining safety within poses.  This class provides many options to grow your practice, taking time to instruct and provide guidance and support with basic poses as well as more advanced.  This class is playful yet challenging and open to all students ready to explore movement, balance and breath.

All Level:
From the beginner to the more advanced students this class provides options for more challenging poses, exploring with a faster paced flow, balancing poses, back bends and inversions.

Flow:
Not recommended for beginners, this class maintains a relatively fast paced flow emphasizing the Ujjayi breath with more challenging poses such as arm/leg balances, and inversions.  Great for building strength, stamina and concentration.  Please note: the heat is turned up to a minimum of 80 degrees.

Power:
Journey inward to create a moving meditation through creative sequencing (asanas), breathing (pranayama), and intention. Less direction is given in power yoga to help cultivate an inner stillness and connection. Please note: the heat is turned up to a minimum of 80 degrees in this class. This class is not recommended for beginning yoga students.

Just a note:
No matter what class of mine you take, you will be given a centering in the beginning, long final relaxation, and you will always be in an environment where we can create the best possible practice for your needs.
